C14ORF44 is highly expressed in lymph node of lymphoma. mRNA of the tissue from lymphoma and reactive lymph node was labelled with biotin respectively and hybridized with expression profile microarray, and the expressed genes were obtained. C14ORF44 has no functional researches at present. Bioinformatic analysis has been performed on C14ORF44. Its gene structure, genomic localization,the physical and chemical characteristics of the putative protein, subcellular localization,functional domain and so on are predicted, and the systematic evolution analysis was performed. C14ORF44 is a nucleus protein, which is highly conservative in many species. Conclusion Bioinformatic analysis of C14ORF44 showed that it was a valuable potential tumor associated protein. The protein may be involved in the embryogenesis and tumor formation.
