Family With Sequence Similarity 92, Member A1 (FAM92A1)
FAM92A1 was ubiquitously expressed, and homology analysis in NCBI GENE database showed that the FAM92A1 was highly conservative. The FAM92A1 protein belonged to a conserved domain of DUF1208,which contain a coiled coil domain and several phosphorylation sites.Compared Human to Chimpanzee, Mouse, Rats, Gallus gallus, X. laevis, Zebrafish, Drosophila melanogaster, the amino acid similarity of FAM92A1 protein is 91%, 84%, 82%, 74%, 67%, 65%, 26%, respectively. There was no signal peptide and trans membrane structure in FAM92A1 protein. The subcellular location analysis of FAM92A1 showed it was a nuclear protein. Conclusion According to the preliminary inference,FAM92A1 is a kind of regulatory protein in nucleus, which may play an important role in the proliferation and differentiation in development.
