IQ motifs are found in diverse families of calmodulin (CaM)-binding proteins. Some of these, like PEP-19 and RC3, are highly abundant in neuronal tissues, but being devoid of catalytic activity, their biological roles are not understood.
FXR1P is a RNA - binding protein. The yeast plasmids from a positive clone of yeast three - hybrid system were extracted and introduced into E. coli Top10, the plamid pRH3′- cDNA was isolated through E. coli p lasmid incompatibility and re introduced into L40 ura3 /pHyblex/ Zeo MS2 / pYESTrp3 / FXR1 to perform a one to one three - hybrid test; Sequencing the interest cDNA insert at last. The interest cDNA insertwas a part of and there was no re2 port on the interaction between FXR1P and IQCE mRNA. IQCE mRNA may be a new candidate of FXR1P - inter2 acting RNAs.
