Integrator Complex Subunit 7 (INTS7)

INT7; C1orf73

Integrator Complex Subunit 7 (INTS7)
DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases.INTS7 is a DEAD box protein that is part of a complex that interacts with the C-terminus of RNA polymerase II and is involved in 3' end processing of snRNAs.
INTS7 is a subunit of the Integrator complex, which associates with the C-terminal domain of RNA polymerase II large subunit (POLR2A) and mediates 3-prime end processing of small nuclear RNAs U1 (RNU1) and U2 (RNU2) . By SDS-PAGE of proteins that copurified with INTS11 (CSPF3L) in HEK293 cells, Baillat et al. (2005) identified INTS7 as a subunit of the Integrator complex. They stated that the INTS7 protein contains an ARM repeat.
