Pleckstrin Homology Domain Containing Family G, Member 1 (PLEKHG1)

ARHGEF41

Pleckstrin Homology Domain Containing Family G, Member 1 (PLEKHG1)
PLEKHG1 has been proposed to participate in a process (regulation of Rho protein signal transduction). Proteins are expected to have molecular functions and to localize in various compartments (mitochondrion, intracellular).Seven SNPs were significantly associated with PD, which were located in or adjacent to genes including PKP1, PLEKHG1, TMEM16B, CALCOCO1, SDK2 and CLU (or APO-J). The chromosomal loci of the genes were assigned by using human-rodent hybrid panels unless their mapping data were already available in the public databases. The expression profiles of the genes were studied in 10 human tissues, 8 brain regions, spinal cord, fetal brain and fetal liver by reverse transcription-coupled polymerase chain reaction, products of which were quantified by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
