Purinergic Receptor P2Y, G Protein Coupled 10 (P2RY10)

P2Y10; Putative P2Y Purinoceptor 10; P2Y-like receptor

Purinergic Receptor P2Y, G Protein Coupled 10 (P2RY10)
Putative P2Y purinoceptor 10 is a protein belongs to the family of G-protein coupled receptors that is preferentially activated by adenosine and uridine nucleotides. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein isoform have been found for this gene.
Granulocytic differentiation was induced by dimethylsulfoxide, and a monocytic/macrophage phenotype was induced by phorbol esters. P2Y10 expression was nearly undetectable in undifferentiated cells and following granulocytic differentiation. During monocytic differentiation, expression was markedly increased at 24 hours following induction and returned to lower levels thereafter. P2Y10 was weakly expressed in normal blood leukocytes.
