Ring Finger Protein 19B (RNF19B)

IBRDC3; NKLAM; IBR Domain Containing 3; E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase RNF19B; Natural killer lytic-associated molecule

Ring Finger Protein 19B (RNF19B)
IBRDC3 is a cytolysis-associated transmembrane protein expressed in natural killer (NK) cells and T lymphocytes following cytokine stimulation .
The predicted 587-amino acid protein contains a potential N-terminal signal sequence, followed by 3 cys-rich domains (CRDs), 2 of which correspond to zinc-binding RING domains, and 3 transmembrane sequences. NKLAM also has 2 N-glycosylation sites and several sites for amidation, N-myristoylation, and phosphorylation. The variant encodes a predicted 731-amino acid protein with a calculated molecular mass of 77 kD. It shares 94% amino acid identity with the mouse Nklam protein. The variant encoding the 587-amino acid protein is not present in mouse.
