Zinc Finger Protein 366 (ZNF366)

DCSCRIPT

Zinc Finger Protein 366 (ZNF366)
The 744-amino acid protein contains a putative nuclear localization sequence, a proline-rich domain, 11 C2H2 zinc finger motifs, and an acidic region. It has 2 possible N-glycosylation sites in the zinc fingers and several possible phosphorylation sites.
DCSCRIPT was expressed at low levels in spleen, kidney, liver, heart, and placenta. Real-time semiquantitative PCR analysis detected constitutive expression of DCSCRIPT in immature DCs and additional DC subsets. Western blot analysis showed expression of a protein somewhat larger than the calculated molecular mass of 75 kD, possibly due to the acidic C terminus. Confocal microscopy showed that DCSCRIPT constructs containing the zinc fingers all localized to the nucleus.
