Peripheral Sciatic Nerve Fibroblasts ( PSNC)
Peripheral nerve-derived fibroblasts

Peripheral Sciatic Nerve Fibroblasts are a type of fibroblast cell found in the peripheral sciatic nerve. Fibroblasts are a type of connective tissue cell that play a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity of the nerve tissue. These fibroblasts produce and organize the extracellular matrix, which provides support and structure to the nerve cells.
Peripheral Sciatic Nerve Fibroblasts are also involved in the repair and regeneration of nerve tissue following injury. They can produce growth factors and cytokines that promote nerve cell growth and survival. Additionally, these fibroblasts play a role in the immune response in the nerve tissue, helping to regulate inflammation and protect the nerve cells from damage.
