Modeling Method

Use the inbred mice with weight of 18 ~ 20g, age 4 ~ 6 weeks. The mice were intraperitoneally inoculated with 0.2ml of Coxsackie B3m virus (CVB3m, Nancy strain) to establish the severe Viral Myocarditis (VMC) model. Extract tissue samples after 1 week of inoculation. ①.Observe activity, food intake, body weight, coat color, and survival rate etc. ②.Observe the size, texture, color of the heart, liver and spleen. Weigh heart, liver and spleen / body weight (%) and thymus/body weight (%), heart/liver(%), heart/spleen(%), liver/spleen(%). ③.Pathological examination, take a piece of myocardial tissue, fix with 10% formaldehyde, conventional HE staining, observe the myocardial pathological changes.

Statistical analysis

SPSS software is used for statistical analysis, measurement data to mean ± standard deviation (x ±s), using t test and single factor analysis of variance for group comparison , P<0.05 indicates there was a significant difference, P<0.01 indicates there are very significant differences.
