Modeling Method

Each female rat of 3 months old is orally fed with retinoic acid at the dosage of 70 mg/kg for consecutive 14 d; later, such rats are fed with normal saline for the following 14 d. Animals are fed routinely and are allowed to drink water and eat food freely. Kill animals on the 29th day after modeling. Take their tibias and fix them in stationary liquid; later, these tibias are decalcified routinely and embedded in paraffin; then, take serial sections, which will be observed under light microscope.
